I'm Christy Hughes - author, podcast host, yoga teacher, and corporate Director-turned creative entrepreneur. I wasn't always this ambitious. I stayed locked in a life of fear and self-doubt, but I've spent the last decade dismantling my limiting beliefs.
I am passionate about helping women unlock new levels of confidence through my THRIVE leadership model, whether they are leading a full team or simply leading themselves down a new path.
Book me to speak to your professional audience, women's group, or on your next podcast. My experience in forging tenacity led me from being a shy wallflower to retreat host, YouTube personality and published author. Your audience may not know how much they can accomplish when they set their mind to it, but I'm here to unlock their confidence!

ABOUT ME
In May 2018, I made a decision that changed my life forever: I stopped drinking alcohol. Sobriety reconnected me to my authentic self—a version of me I’d long hidden to conform to the self-limiting belief that "nice guys finish last" and that I didn't deserve a seat at the table.
Empowered to use my voice, I began writing a weekly blog in 2019 about my volunteer experience and the personal growth found through yoga and recovery. I dug deep and tested both my writing and technical skills when I self-published my sobriety memoir, Strong Roots, Wayward Soul, in 2021. I soon realized that by sharing my experiences, I wasn't just telling a story—I was igniting courage.
I’ve gone from a shy introvert to an empowered writer and coach. After a 30-year retail career, I’m now paying it forward full-time. I am a 200-hr Registered Yoga Teacher and ran my own studio in Hico, TX for two years. When I’m not coaching or typing my next novel, you’ll find me relaxing on our ranchette south of DFW, meditating under a tree or riding horses with my husband.
I’m here to help quiet women unlock their infinite potential and help teams thrive through collaboration, empathy, and assertive diplomacy.
"Courage is the most important of all the virtues, because without courage you can't practice any other virtue consistently." — Maya Angelou
